Eric Barker is an author of a bestselling book by the same name - Barking up the wrong tree, former Hollywood screenwriter and has been featured in various media outlets like New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, or TIME magazine just to name a few. The idea for the newsletter was born when Eric Barker started reading academic research and realized the amount of interesting stuff in there is definitely worth sharing. Naming his website “bakadesuyo”, which is Japanese for “I am an idiot” - Eric Barker created one of the most popular newsletters out there with 345 thousand (and counting) subscribers and viral content read by millions.
