The idea for the newsletter was born when Eric Barker started reading academic research and realized the amount of interesting stuff in there is definitely worth sharing. Naming his website “bakadesuyo”, which is Japanese for “I am an idiot” - Eric Barker created one of the most popular newsletters out there with 345 thousand (and counting) subscribers and viral content read by millions.
