Background

Ann Friedman is a journalist, media entrepreneur, co-host of the podcast Call Your Girlfriend, and co-author of the book Big Friendship. She writes about race, gender, and social issues, and contributes to New York, The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, and many more magazines. Free

The free subscription gives you an e-mail every Friday. As we were not able to check the content under the paywall, we are not sure what you’ll be missing. Suggestion - subscribe for free and if you like it, consider supporting the author by purchasing the annual membership.

Paid

The paid subscription of The Ann Friedman Weekly costs $15. But there is a big difference from other newsletters - the author offers only an annual subscription. The perks of a paid membership include ‘a pie chart or an exclusive bit of writing every week, occasional discounts on classified ads, and (author’s) undying affection.’ We were not able to check the content under the paywall, so there are no guarantees.
